
Take the PLUNGE for a healthy heart! February is healthy heart month & we are getting our members in the pool to cardio challenge themselves in more ways than one.
This is a FREE program that encourages participants of ALL ages to swim for heart health! Participants set their own goal, which they will try to achieve between February 1st-29th. Participants who meet their goal will be put into a drawing to receive Y SWAG!

Goal Opportunities:
Gold Goal Setters:
20 miles = 1,400 lengths
25 miles = 1,750 lengths
Silver Goal Setters:
15 miles = 1,050 lengths
10 miles = 700 lengths
Bronze Goal Setters:
5 miles = 350 lengths
3 miles = 210 lengths
Length and Lap Defined:
A LAP of the pool (just like a lap of the track) returns you to your starting point (i.e. down and back).
A LENGTH of the pool is just one way.
Water Fitness Classes:
One water fitness class is equivalent to ½ mile (70 lengths).
Mileage Count Reminder:
3 miles = 210 Lengths
5 miles = 350 Lengths
10 miles = 700 Lengths
15 miles = 1,050 Lengths
20 miles = 1,750 Lengths
25 miles = 1,400 Lengths
