Enhancing your health is an important part of what we do at the Y! We offer a variety of options for you to lead a healthy lifestyle.
You can get involved with Group Exercise classes or workout on your own in our Wellness Center or Weight Room. There are also many opportunities to learn more about healthy living with our various Health & Wellness programming such as Dashing All the Weigh (winter).
Additionally, we have great Personal Trainers who are willing to work one-on-one with you to develop and implement a plan to help you achieve your health-related goals.

Join us for a new program: Walking Club!
Cardio, strength building, balance, and more are the top priorities for our new club. Everyone is welcome to join us for up to an hour at various locations in the area. What's the fee? There isn't one. Let's get together and fellowship while we walk. The club will meet this season on a schedule as long as the outside temperature is at 40 degrees and above.
KICK OFF DAY: Monday, October 21st at 10:30 a.m., Athens Regional Park
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK: Saturday, October 26th at 9:00 a.m., Athens Regional Park
OCTOBER 28: Meet at Athens Regional Park 10:30 a.m.; At the big pond!
NOVEMBER 4: Meet at the Eureka Trail 10:30 a.m.

When you train with a Certified Personal Trainer, you will receive a personally designed program, along with the motivation you will need to succeed. Whether your goal is to lose weight, get stronger, improve your body composition or recover from an injury, personal training can help! Available for members only, during Y business hours. Save by purchasing multiple sessions in advance!

Proceeds support the 2020 LIVESTRONG program, a cancer survivor support and health group, at the Y.
As a Friend of the Y Challenge participant, you receive full access to the Y with your registration fee.
The holidays have the potential to threaten your efforts towards a healthy lifestyle, but the Y supports you in challenging yourself to stay on track during this season. The goal is to find ways to reach 150 minutes of physical activity per week for the next 6 weeks, with an additional goal to maintain or lose weight.
